Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology

A Holistic Approach to Treating Chronic Skin Disease

Chinese Medicine offers a natural and holistic option for the treatment of many common and chronic skin diseases. Beyond simply managing symptoms, Chinese Medicine can help you get to root cause of your skin disease and help your body heal from within. We can effectively treat eczema, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, perioral dermatitis, and more, even when all other natural and pharmaceutical therapies have failed.

Treatment for most skin diseases involves internal herbal medicine prescriptions that are taken over a period of several weeks to several months. Infants and children may be given herbal baths and compresses in lieu of internal herbal formulas depending on their age and the severity of the condition. Complete resolution may be gradual, but improvement is typically seen within 2-3 weeks of treatment. Certain skin conditions may only require external preparations of herbs including washes, compresses, and soaks as well as regular acupuncture.
